- Immediately change preassigned PINs to a personally memorized PIN.
- Do not use easily identifiable numbers such as birth dates, addresses, phone numbers or social security numbers when choosing your PIN.
- Store cancelled checks, new checks and account statements in a safe place.
- Tear up or shred unused preapproved credit offers.
- Report lost or stolen checks, credit cards, and debit cards immediately.
How is your information secured and protected?
CapitalSource Small Business Lending uses encryption tools to protect your personal information when it is submitted through our website. E-mails you send us are not necessarily secure when they are transmitted to us. If your communication is very sensitive, you may want to send it by regular mail instead.
In addition, we instruct our employees with access to your information that it is to be used only in adherence with the principles set forth in this privacy policy and laws applicable to CapitalSource Small Business Lending and its business units.
